The screen is not always responsive to touch, and sometimes it registers touches on its own even when I didn’t tap the screen!

To calibrate the Touchscreen, follow these steps:

  • On the Start screen, type touch. Then select Calibrate the Screen for Pen or Touch Input. In the Tablet PC Settings window, select the Calibrate button.Starting at the upper-left corner, use your finger or a stylus to tap each intersection, which displays two short black lines forming crosshairs.Select OK unless you think something went wrong. In that case, select Cancel.

There might be an internal problem with the touchscreen and the screen will need to be replaced.
