The battery will not charge or dies too fast.
Sometimes a faulty battery is given with Lenovo Thinkpads. For this reason, it is better to buy a new battery in most cases. Additionally, sometimes unexpected events occur that also require the purchase of a new battery.
If you are having issues with charging your laptop try removing the battery and the AC adapter. Then try pressing and holding down the power button for 3 - 4 seconds with these removed. Put the battery back in, along with the AC adapter and see if it will charge. If this does not work try updating your motherboard. Lastly, if issues persist try purchasing a new battery and AC adapter.
