Introduction
The steps to replace the RAM card are simple, the hardest part being keeping track of all the screws while taking apart the device.
It is important to remember to turn off the device while replacing the RAM card.
What you need

Back Cover
- Power off and unplug your device before you begin.
- Orient the laptop so that it is bottom up, and the trackpad is closest to you.
- Unscrew the seven captive screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
- These screws will loosen, but stay attached to the cover. Do not attempt to completely remove them.
- Slide a blue opening pick in the gap between the bottom panel and chassis, and pry off the one clip on each side.
- Remove the back cover from the device.

- Use an opening tool to unlatch the silver gate on the side of the RAM by pushing it away from the component.
- Repeat the same process to the other side of the RAM.

- Gently grab the RAM and slide it up and away from the connector at the bottom of the component.
