Introduction

The speakers play the audio from your computer.

Before using this guide, check if your audio has been disabled or you need to update the audio drivers. This will check if your speaker problems are from faulty software or hardware.

Before you begin, make sure your computer is off.

What you need

              Back Cover               
  • Using a Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the seven 7mm screws holding the back cover onto your computer.

  • Use a plastic opening tool or your fingers to pry off the cover.

              Battery               
  • Using your fingers, disconnect the battery from the motherboard.

Step 4

  • Using a Phillips #0 screwdriver, unscrew the five 4.3mm screws attaching the battery to the computer.

  • Remove the battery by pulling it directly towards you.

              Speakers               
  • Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the four 4.6mm screws holding the speakers.
  • Each speaker has 2 screws.

Step 7

  • Disconnect the wire running from the right speaker to the motherboard.

  • Remove the tape that is holding down the wire that connects the two speakers.

Step 9

  • Remove the speakers by lifting them directly upward.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
