This guide will detail the steps necessary to replace the external battery.

The most common reasons why this component would need to be replaced is because:

• The external battery has gone bad.The port is damaged.The battery no longer recharges as effectively.

There are no specialized skills required for replacing the external battery.

You do not need to buy a second replacement battery if your goal is just to remove the external battery.

What you need

Step 1

              External Battery               

• Slide the switch on the left side of the battery to the left.

• Slide the switch on the right side of the battery to the right while applying upward pressure on the battery.

Slide the switch on the right side of the battery to the right while applying upward pressure on the battery.

Step 3

• Pull the battery directly out of the socket

Pull the battery directly out of the socket

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
