Introduction
RAM modules are used for providing fast-access storage for the operating system to function.
Before you start with this guide, make sure you have powered off your laptop and you have the replacement ram ready. The ram that comes with this laptop is ddr4 2400 MHz. Ideally, you need to find a RAM module with the same specs. A faulty RAM will result in an unbootable laptop.
Make sure you have the right-sized the screwdriver, so you will not strip your screws.

Battery
- Before you begin, be sure to turn off your laptop and discharge the battery down to 25%.
- Remove the five 5.5mm Phillips #1 screws securing the back cover.
- These screws are captive and cannot be removed completely from the back cover.
- Lift and remove the back cover.

- Remove the five 5.5mm Phillips #1 screws securing the two batteries.

- Unplug the two-wire connector from the motherboard by gently pulling it towards the battery.
- Pull parallel to the battery, not straight up.

- Each battery has a black tab covering the electrical contacts.
- Lift the battery by its tab and remove it from the device.

RAM
- To remove the existing RAM module, pull tabs marked in the red outwards.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
