CMOS / BIOS Battery
- Remove the CMOS Battery Cover.
- Disconnect the CMOS Battery Cable.
- Use a sharp edge of a plastic tool to unstick the battery.
- This is Lithium Battery, 3.0 Volts, model CR2032, but it’s extra packed with wires.

Would the same apply to my E520 ThinkPad Edge? It is sealed with yellow plastic tape and I can see that the red/black wiring attaches to the battery on one side.

Mine is black wrapper wit one wire connected on each side
