              CMOS / BIOS Battery               

• Remove the CMOS Battery Cover.
• Disconnect the CMOS Battery Cable.
• Use a sharp edge of a plastic tool to unstick the battery.
• This is Lithium Battery, 3.0 Volts, model CR2032, but it’s extra packed with wires.

Remove the CMOS Battery Cover.

Disconnect the CMOS Battery Cable.

Use a sharp edge of a plastic tool to unstick the battery.

Would the same apply to my E520 ThinkPad Edge? It is sealed with yellow plastic tape and I can see that the red/black wiring attaches to the battery on one side.
