- Flip the computer over.
- Remove the 9 screws surrounding the edges of the computer.
- Remove the single screw near the center of the computer.

- Use a smaller plastic panel popping tool to begin (if you have one). You may increase to a larger size as you go (if you have one)
- Slowly work your way around the edges of the computer.
- Closer to the screen the clips will be sturdier, use a little more force but still be cautious.

- On the main board, lift up on the black tabs of the connectors that are connected to the ribbons.
- Remove the ribbon connectors gently from the main board.

- The keyboard should be free and disconnected from the rest of the computer.
