Step 1
Remove the back plate
- Remove the 5 long and 6 short Phillips head screws on the back of the computer (I am missing one). They are located around the perimeter of the bottom as well as one in the center of the fan grille. Take off the back cover.

Locate the Wifi Card
- The wifi card is directly above the battery and under the right fan.

Remove the connections to the antenna.
- Remove the connections to the antenna for the card. On my Realtek 8822BE model they are white and black. Yours may be a different color but the process is identical

Unscrew the Wifi Card
- Use the same Phillips driver you used to open the case and unscrew the card. Be careful.

Carefully remove the card
- Pull gently and the card will remove. To put in a new card just repeat these steps in reverse.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Be sure to keep your hands dry and be careful with electronics.
