Introduction

This guide will help users to upgrade their RAM in their Lenovo Legion-15ICH. Replacing the RAM is recommended if the device is running slower than usual.

What you need

Step 1

              Back Cover

Ensure the device is powered off.
Use a PZ00 screwdriver bit to remove the eleven screws securing the back cover.
Five 7 mm screws
Six 4 mm screws

Step 2

Carefully pry the back cover off the computer using an opening pick.
Start at the corner of the laptop and work your way around the side. Gently pull up on the cover until it detaches.

Step 3

RAM

Use the plastic opening tool to unlatch the metal cover that secures the RAM housing.
Ensure that the opening tool is only hooked on the metal housing.

Step 4

Push the metal tabs inwards to release the RAM.
After the clips are removed, the RAM will push up at an angle.
Remove the RAM from the device.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
