What you need

Step 1

              Remove the Battrty               
  • Turning over the laptop, look for two tabs that are located by the fan
  • Push these tabs to the opposite sides (left to right and vise versa.) when done correctly, you should see at least one tab with a red indicator on the right
  • Carefully remove the battery by slowly pulling the battery towards you, the battery should come out with no force
  • Fully discharge the laptop by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds after removing the battery. This ensures that there is no electricity in the laptop itself

Step 2

              Remove the back Panel               
  • Take a JI head screwdriver and remove the nine screws holding the back panel down.
  • When done correctly, the back panel should come off with little to no difficulty. If there is resistance, make sure that all screws are removed

              Remove the Old hard Drive               
  • Gently lift and remove the hard drive.

Gently lift and remove the hard drive.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
