              Battery               
  • Turn off your laptop before starting.
  • Flip the laptop over so the model stickers are facing up.

  • Slide the left battery lock to the unlock position and release.
  • Slide the right battery lock to the unlock positon and hold it in place.

  • While holding the right battery lock in the unlock position, slide the battery carefully out of the laptop and set it aside.

              Screen               
  • Using the metal spudger, pry the screen cover off from all sides.
  • Carefully lift the screen cover up and outwards.
  • Place the screen cover aside.

Step 5

  • Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the four 8mm screws from each corner of the screen.
  • Carefully lift the screen up and place it face down on the keyboard.
  • A thick cord connects the bottom of the screen to the computer. Do not tug or remove this cord from the computer.

Step 6

  • Remove the adhesive tape from the small rectangular connector at the bottom of the screen.
  • Carefully pull the wire connector from the screen connector.
  • Remove the screen.

Remove the screen.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
