              Battery
  • Turn off and unplug your laptop to prevent the risk of electrocution.
  • Turn your laptop over so that the bottom is face up.

  • On the top left of the laptop there is a switch. Make sure it’s pushed in the unlocked position.

  • Locate the switch collinear with the last one and move the switch to an unlocked position.

  • Remove the unlocked battery.

  • Flip the laptop so it’s facing upwards.

  • Open the laptop.

  • Press the most northern region above F6 and F7 until a bit of your keyboard pops out.

  • Use the spudger to pry the top of the keyboard out.

  • Disconnect the wire connecting to keyboard to the laptop.
