Screen
- Make sure your laptop is turned off before disassembling.
- Power off the laptop.
- Using the metal spudger, gently pry off the black trim around the screen.
- Metal spudger can be used, but using your hand will prevent the screen and the plastic border from any damage.

- Remove the six 3 mm Phillips #1 screws holding the screen to the laptop.
- Ignore the “Do not touch” label on the bottom portion of the screen. It will not damage the laptop.

Step 3
- Lower LCD screen onto the keyboard.
- Find the gold connector on the bottom of the LCD panel.
- Gently grab the connector on both sides and pull the connector straight out.
- Connector cable is very fragile. Use the least amount of force possible.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
