Introduction
Before starting the replacement, make sure the laptop is fully turned off and unplugged from a power cord.
What you need

Base Cover
- Remove the ten 6.5 mm screws that secure the base cover using a T5 Torx screwdriver.

Step 2
- Use the plastic opening tool to pry in the seam between the bottom cover and the rest of the laptop.
- The goal is to unhook the plastic hooks that secure the bottom cover.
- Work your way around the bottom cover of the laptop in a clockwise rotation until every clip is free.
- You will feel and hear a clicking noise when the clips are undone.

Wi-Fi Card
- Detach the gray and black wires from the Wi-Fi card.

- Remove the single 3.5 mm screw that secures the Wi-Fi card using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

- Remove the Wi-Fi card from its slot using tweezers.
- When reinstalling, the gray wire goes into the connector labeled number 1. The black wire goes into the connector labeled number 2. You will hear an audible click when it is properly clipped back into place.
