Introduction
Before using this guide, ensure that the volume of the speakers is on and not muted to see if the sound still does not work. Faulty speakers can still produce distorted sound.
Steps 3 and 4 will have you remove the battery first because the wires that connect the speaker to the motherboard run from underneath the battery.

- Remove all ten 6.6 mm screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

- Use the plastic opening tool to lift up and remove the casing.

Battery
- Remove the two 3.6 mm Phillips #00 battery screws located in the lower left corner of the device.

- Gently unplug the multi-colored cable connecting the battery to the motherboard.
- Remove the battery from the laptop.

Speaker
- Remove the two speakers from their compartment. The speakers are held in the bottom corners of the device.

- Carefully unplug two wired connections from the motherboard using nylon tip reverse tweezers.
