Introduction
The fan is a piece of your device that helps with cooling in your computer. A faulty fan can cause your laptop to produce irregular noises and/or overheat because of a lack in airflow.
Before using this guide, make sure to review the troubleshooting page—oftentimes, there is debris affecting the fan that can be blown out without replacing the fan entirely.
Make sure to power off your laptop completely and disconnect from any external power source before beginning the process.
What you need

- Remove all ten 6.6 mm screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

- Use the plastic opening tool to lift up and remove the casing.

Fan
- Remove the two 3.6 mm fan screws located in the top left corner of the device.

Step 4
- Find the black cable connecting the fan to the motherboard and gently unplug the cable to fully remove the fan.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
