Introduction
Removing the back panel of the laptop is the most crucial part of most all repairs, seeing as it precedes being able to replace any of the internal parts.
Before using this guide, make sure to review the troubleshooting page—oftentimes, laptops can be fixed without disassembling them.
Make sure to power off your laptop completely and disconnect from any external power source before beginning the process of removal.

- Remove all ten 6.6 mm screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

- Use the plastic opening tool to lift up and remove the casing.
