The charge on the battery runs out fast or does not hold a charge at all.

Plug in the power cord to the laptop and the wall, if there is a light on the battery then the power cord is good. If the light is not on or if the laptop is not charging then the power cord is broken and the power cord needs to be replaced.

If your power cord is working properly, but the laptop will not stay on if you unplug the laptop from the power cord, then the battery is broken. You can replace the battery with help from this guide. Battery Replacement Guide

Device is staying hot or overheating and shutting down.

If your laptop is properly placed in a cool area but still overheating and shutting down, the fan inside your device is broken and needs to be replaced. For help replacing the fan use this guide. Fan Replacement Guide

The screen will not turn on or turns on and goes out.

Check to make sure that the device plugged in or has a charged battery. If the battery is not charged or the laptop has a power source the screen will not stay on.

If you have confirmed the laptop is charged or has a power source and the screen is still black, the screen is broken and needs to be replaced. The following guide will instruct you on how to replace the screen replacement. Screen Replacement Guide

Clicking sounds coming from the laptop.

When the hard drive motor stops working this causes the laptop to shut down. This is caused by broken components inside the hard drive that block the disk from proper function. The following guide will instruct you in the hard drive replacement. Hard Drive Replacement Guide

The touchpad seems to be unresponsive or broken.

When you are moving your finger across the touchpad and the pointer on the screen isn’t moving, this is caused by a broken and nonresponsive touchpad. The following guide will instruct you how to replace the touchpad.
