  • Unplug the power cable from the wall before performing replacement to avoid electrocution.
  • Open the laptop to a ninety-degree angle.

  • Use the spudger to pry the screen frame away from the screen.
  • Use your fingers to finish removing the screen frame.
  • Gently pull the screen frame out.

  • Use the screwdriver to remove the four Phillips #0 screws from the each corner of the screen.

  • Slowly lean the screen forward.

  • Use tweezers to carefully detach the sticker that holds the webcam wires in place on the bottom of the screen.
  • Pull the screen out.
