The display of the laptop is too dull to see the screen clearly.

Your computer’s brightness setting may be set too low for you to see the screen. Before anything else, try using the F11 and F12 keys to adjust the brightness of your device’s screen. Press the F12 button to increase the brightness, and the F11 button to decrease the brightness to your desired resolution.

If increasing the brightness does not work to bring up the clarity of the display, it may be because of a faulty or broken screen on the device. If this is the case, you may want to consider replacing the device’s screen using this guide.

The audio of the device is not clear or loud enough.

The volume setting on your device may be set too low for you to hear or understand the audio. Using either the F2 button on your keyboard will decrease the volume, while the F3 button will increase it. Use these buttons to adjust the volume to your desired level. Alternatively, you can use the widget in the task bar to increase the volume to the desired level.

Try using headphones or an external speaker to receive better quality sound. Plug either the speakers or headphones into the AUX jack on the laptop, located on the right side of the device.

If the audio is extremely weak, it may be a smart move to replace the speakers of the device. You can learn how to replace speakers on a laptop using this general guide.

If the keyboard is not working and the LED lights on the keyboard do not turn on such as the ( caps lock, scroll keys, and numbers ), first try rebooting your computer. This resets the settings on your computer, and may reboot your keyboard back on as well.

If after rebooting your laptop still does not work, you can try reinstalling your keyboard on your laptop. You can use thisguide for help.

If you are having trouble with your SD card not being read by your laptop, you can try disconnecting it and putting it back in. If this does not work you can use this guide for more tips and solutions on how to fix the SD reader.

If you are having problems with your computer not reading your SD card, a temporary fix would be to use a USB connector that reads SD cards. You can plug this into your laptop and use this as a secondary SD reader.

If you’re having trouble with your multitasking try to first reboot the Lenovo Ideapad 120s. This will close all of the programs and processes on your computer, giving it a fresh start to open new programs.

If after your reboot the multitasking is still not working consider replacing the processor. This would allow it to be able to do more tasks and complicated systems more easily.
