              Backplate
  • First power your device off so it doesn’t turn on during the guide
  • Unscrew the 10 screws

  • With a prying tool, pry out the back cover
  • You’ll hear clicking noises as you pry the cover off, the computer isn’t breaking, there are tabs that hold the back cover on the device.

              Battery
  • Disconnect the wire that connects to the motherboard
  • unscrew the 5 screws holding the battery in place

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
