Optical Drive
- Before you proceed, make sure your computer is turned off and it’s not connected to any power source.
- Using #1 Phillips screwdriver remove the 13 (9mmx6mm) screws holding the back.
- Gently pry the back off using a plastic opening tool, starting from one of the corners.

- Using #1 Phillips screwdriver remove the 1 (9mmx6mm) screw holding the disk drive in place.

- Pull the optical drive away from device to slide out of dock.
- Careful not to pull the drive straight up or towards the device, otherwise damage might be done to the drive connector.

I think there is an easier way to remove the optical drive. You only need to remove the screw in the middle near optical drive. After this you can pull out the otpical drive.
