              CD Drive               

• Locate a Phillips head screwdriver. Use the screwdriver to remove the 2 screws found on the backside of the Lenovo G70-80. Once both of these screws are removed you will be able to remove the back of the laptop.

Step 2

• Next, you will need to locate the CD drive. If you orient the laptop with the hinge facing you, the CD drive will be in the bottom right corner near the battery.

Step 3

• Remove the screw to the left of the CD Drive.

Step 4

• Once all of the hardware in the previous steps is removed, you will be able to pull the CD drive directly out of the laptop.

Reassembly should be equally as easy as the disassembly. Follow the directions step by step in reverse order to reassemble the Lenovo G70-80 with your new CD drive.
