Introduction

No problem, you can solder it back on

What you need

Step 1

              Disassemble the lamp               
  • turn and pull the silver focus ring and the lamp will open up

              Disassemble the lamp               
  • Unscrew 2 screws, you need a Torx T6 for this
  • then remove the white part
  • do not touch the LED!

Step 3

              Clean solder joints               
  • Remove residue from the torn cable
  • Remove the cable ties

Step 4

              Which wire goes where?               
  • Riddle: which wire goes where?
  • red = D+ / black = D-
  • green = VSS / yellow = SW (= switch)
  • white = NTC (= temperature sensor)

Step 5

              Do not forget !               
  • To be on the safe side, remove the battery from the battery compartment
  • Attention, before soldering don’t forget:
  • Thread the cable through the two housings
  • Thread the cable through the kink protection

              Soldering               
  • Solder 5 times
  • Secure cable with cable tie
  • Now you can test, but please only briefly, otherwise the LED will get too hot
  • Assemble the lamp!
