  • Applying too much force to the spudger can cause the spudger to bend or the hubcap to break. To avoid this, try prying the hubcap from a different angle or positioning your spudger at a different points around the hubcap.
  • Use the spaded side of the metal spudger to pry off the small black hubcap on the outside of the rear wheel.

  • Pull on the looped end of the cotter pin to remove it.

  • Remove the metal washer by sliding it off the axle.

  • Slide the wheel off of the axle.
