- While the camera is lying on its back, unscrew the front lens assembly and remove the lens and the faceplate. Then lift off the speed setting.

- Remove the lever from the stopper by pushing it back and then upwards.

- Remove the stopper by lifting it upwards with the tweezers.

- Using tweezers, unhitch the spring from the base and remove it by lifting upwards.
