Step 1

              Back Cover               
  • Remove the two 6.2mm Phillips screws on both sides of camera’s back cover.

  • Turn camera so the bottom is facing up and the front is facing away.
  • Remove the two 6.2mm Phillips screws on the bottom back cover of the camera.
  • Back cover is now unscrewed an can be removed.

Back cover is now unscrewed an can be removed.

Step 3

  • Have the back of the camera facing up.
  • Unscrew the 6.2mm Phillips screw next to the viewfinder.
  • The back cover is now unscrewed. Lift up and pull the cover off evenly.

Step 4

              Flash Capacitor               
  • The capacitor is located at the bottom center of the camera.

Step 5

  • Desolder the two connections at the top of the flash capacitor.
  • If unfamiliar with soldering, refer to the guide How To Solder and Desolder Connections

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
