Remove Back Cover
- Pry the back cover off just below the grey belt between the screen and back cover. No screws. Be careful not to lose the sliding power button while you are removing the back cover.

Step 2
Disconnect screen cables.
- Gently pull out these 3 cables to disconnect the screen.

Step 3
Remove Screen and Install new one.
- Pry the screen off the middle layer; screen is also attached by adhesive tapes. You can keep them intact for the new screen. Once screen is removed. Put on the new screen and connect the cables. Then put on the back cover. Be careful not to lose the power button.

To install the new screen, connect the cables first and then install the screen onto the middle panel. Then install the back panel.

Hey, it’s been some time but as I remember you do not need to remove any screws (as per the post). You just need to unplug the screen cable.

I have replaced the screen, it’s now as easy as you explained. The double sided tape used was very hard to take out. But alas, it works now.

is this guide for kobo glo or kobo glo hd ?
