Your Kobo Arc K107 is on but nothing on screen will respond to you.

Try to hold down the power button to turn off the device and turn it back on. If this does not work, hold down the “volume up/down” buttons with the power button to do a factory reset to rid your Kobo Arc of any virus.

Connect the usb to preferably a computer. Your computer needs to be turned on to successfully charge the Kobo. An hour at least is preferable.

Your Kobo Arc is on and running but won’t connect to your Wi-Fi.

Use a smartphone or other device to see if your Wi-Fi network is discoverable.

Have your password written down somewhere in case you have forgotten what it is. May also be on the back of your router.

E-readers like the Kobo Arc 7 can only connect to Wi-Fi networks that are 2.4GHz

Your Kobo Arc K107 won’t turn on or charge.

You will have to replace a dead battery with a new one. See our guide on how to replace Kobo Arc K107 batteries.

You can try to clean the charging port. Turn off the device and use a small toothpick or needle to gently pull out lint and other unwanted substances from the port. Then use compressed air to get all of the small dirt particles out.

The issue could be something as simple as a broken cable charger and you may need to buy a replacement.

Your Kobo Arc K107 may have damage to the screen or parts of the screen may be tearing and not working correctly.

You can try to do a soft reset by holding down the power button to turn the device off then on. You can also try a factory reset by holding down both volume buttons as well as the power button. If the issue persists you may have to replace the screen.
