- Remove the battery cover and batteries.

- Unscrew the ten screws (countersunk cross head 1,5 mm; 8 mm).

- Remove the black back cover.

- Remove the tape which holds the electrical wires in place.

- Push down the click fingers and slide out the feet.

- Remove the backlight from the screen.

- Unscrew the 5 screws from the PCB and screen (round cross head 1,5 mm; 6 mm).

- Lift out the PCB and screen.

- Pry out the PCBs which include the touch sensors (2).

- Lift out the complete electronic circuit and remove the screen and connector.

- Pry off the metal cover from the top of the kitchen scale.
- Remove the glass screen cover.
