- Remove the water reservoir from the Keurig machine by gently lifting up on the reservoir and pulling it away.

- Remove water filter holder from within the water reservoir by pulling up on the holder and lifting it out.

- To remove the old filter, pinch both sides of the filter holder at the base and pull it apart. Remove the old filter by lifting it out of the filter holder.
- Dispose of old water filter cartridge.

- Take the soaked water filter and rinse it under running water for 60 seconds.
