What you need
Step 1
Remove Cable Grips
- Turn the mixer upside down
- Remove the two screws holding the white cable grip.
- Remove the black cable grip. The long screw also holds the cover onto the terminal block

Step 2
Remove the old cable
- Remove the cable cover to expose the terminal block.
- Remove the wires from the live and neutral terminals.
- Thread the cables out though the cover and then from the mixer chassis

Step 3
Refit & Reassemble
- To refit simply follow the removal process in reverse
- Be sure to connect the wires to the correct terminals, Brown - Live, Blue, Neutral.
- If fitting a new plug ensure it is fitted with the appropriate fuse. If in any doubt consult a compitent electrician/electrical engineer

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Important addition: make sure you leave enough cable length free under the mixer for when you raise the top of the mixer during use to change accessories or remove the bowl. Our local electrical repair shop didn’t think to do this and as soon as I raised the top the cable was pulled out.
