Drive Motor Coupling
- Unplug the washing machine.
- Using a flat head screwdriver, gently wedge the end caps off of the control console in order to open it up.

- Lift and swing the console upward.

- Unplug the lid-switch secured under the console.

- Remove the console clips using a flat head screwdriver to release the chassis.

- Stand in front of the washer and remove the chassis by lifting and pulling it towards you to expose the lower components.

- Use the flat head screwdriver to flip the restraining clips and release the drain pump.

- Remove the drive motor by unplugging the motor connector.

- Remove connections to the capacitor.

- Place the drive motor to the side and remove the direct drive coupler by sliding it off.

- Replace with the new direct drive coupler and use the end of your screwdriver to seat it flush on the drive motor.
