Introduction

The Lobster Claw Clasp is the piece that opens and hooks to the chain of your necklace or bracelet to keep it secure. A broken clasp will be unable to keep your necklace or bracelet closed and secure.

If the necklace or bracelet is already missing a clasp, skip Step 4.

Step 1

  • Verify that the chain has a large jump ring on the opposite side of where the clasp will be placed.

Step 2

  • Find the jump ring holding the clasp.

  • Open this jump ring (the last one, which holds the clasp) with pliers.

  • Remove the broken clasp.

  • Place the new clasp on the jump ring.

  • Close the jump ring with pliers.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
