Jean Zipper Repair
- Place your zipper in the upright position before trying to connect it to the zipper tracks.
- If one of the zipper sides can be attached back on the tracks without any help, SKIP to Step 3.
- If your zipper cannot be attached to the tracks easily, continue to the next step.

Step 2
- Use the flathead screwdriver and place it in between the zipper sides.
- Twist the flathead screwdriver back and forth while holding the zipper steady.
- This will allow the zipper side to open wider so the zipper tracks can fit in between the zipper’s sides.

Step 3
- Attach the zipper to the zipper tracks.
- Use the hammer to help close the zipper side onto the track.
- Be sure to check that the zipper is secure on the track. Do this by moving the zipper up and down on the track and tugging on the zipper.

- Repeat Step 2 for the other side of the zipper.

- Make sure the tracks are even before hammering down the second side.
- Pull and tug on the zipper and jeans until the tracks start lining up.

- Start hammering the top and sides of the zipper to secure the closing.
- Check to make sure the zipper is attached by moving the zipper up and down.
- Continue to hammer the top and sides if the tracks aren’t connecting when you zip up the jeans.

- After hammering the zipper, everything should be secure. Move the zipper up and down a few more times to ensure the tracks are even, connecting and staying connected.
