What you need

Step 1

              iyashi footrest Disassembly
  • remove the 4 screws on the top and the bottom of the plastic cover .
  • This half front panel will need to be removed by sliding it up and off . BE CAREFUL AS THIS PANEL IS EASY TO BREAK.

  • Remove the 4 screws .
  • Remove the 5 screws on each edge of back panel.

  • remove the wire harness by unscrewing the zip tie . DO NOT CUT THIS ZIP TIE
  • separate this cable from the harness.
  • When removing the rest of the back cover you need to thread this wire through the marked opening .

Step 4

  • Once back cover is remove this what you should see
  • Next lay footrest down and remove the 4 bolts marked.

Step 5

  • Remove all 10 screws.
  • From here remove the bottom panel completely and turn the footrest back in the upright position.

  • Remove the 4 bolts with their metal and rubber washers.
  • The top left bolt may be cover by the sensor. To move the sensor , remove the 2 screws marked.
  • Grab the support bar and Motor track . Lift UP until clear of the plastic plate. Alternatively you can grab and lift by using the axle pins .
  • DO NOT PULL THIS ASSEMBLY TOWARDS YOU WHILE LIFTING IT OUT. THIS WILL RESULT IN DAMAGE. ONLY LIFT UP.
  • You can’t remove this assembly until bottom panel is removed first

  • Remove all 8 screws .
  • This image is another iteration of the panel, if you see this panel remove the 8 screws marked
  • Fold leather piece down and remove the 4 screws.

  • This what you should see after back panel is removed. Please lay footrest down again to proceed with next step.

Step 9

  • Remove the top 4 screws
  • Slide Axle piece up to remove. PLEASE NOTE ITS POSITION as this will need to be remember during reassembly.
  • Now remove the 4 bottom screws .

  • Unplug both heel switches , and roller assembly should come out with ease.

  • Remove all 15 screws from plastic assembly .
  • Photo doesn’t show all 15 screws , but all screws are in the same line through the left , right and middle .
  • Once all screws are removed , Front panel will come off.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
