• Turn the Roomba upside down and orient it so that the wheels are facing upwards and the dustbin is furthest from you.

• With the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the two 11.4mm screws.

• Lift the plastic cover to access the battery.

• Using the two black flaps located at the sides of the battery, pull it towards you.
• Carefully remove the battery.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

How soon would I need to do this? My 960 runs every day and charges 1.5 times. Do they last a year before they need replacing or longer?
