You have trouble turning on your device.
Check to see if it is charged. If not, place it on its charging port.
Replace the lithium ion battery. Refer to this guide to replace the battery:

Your Roomba could also be experiencing software issues. Make sure the software is running properly by resetting your Roomba. To reset your Roomba, press and hold the clean button for 10 seconds until the display reads “rSt”. If this does not work, the battery is the cause of the issue and should be replaced.
The Home Base charger might be dead, try replacing it. To do so, unscrew the back cover, and then remove the battery. If after replacing Home Base charger the Roomba is still not charging, there may be an issue with the charging port.

The iRobot Roomba will not head back to the docking station after cleaning.
The charging station is too far away from where the Roomba is when it finishes cleaning. Try moving the charging station to a more central location. This way, the Roomba will not get lost trying to find its way back to the charging station.
The Roomba does not clean effectively.
Filter will not hold any more debris.
If it is not suctioning dirt or debris, the filter may be full. Turn your roomba on its back, with the wheels up, unscrew the clear plastic in front of the bristles and remove the plastic.
Brushes are dirty and filled with debris.
Push down the yellow tabs and remove the Roomba’s brushes. Remove and clean all hair and particles built up on the yellow brush bearings and caps. Excessive buildup of hair can damage your Roomba, so regular maintenance is recommended.
Roomba won’t move when powered on.
The iRobot Roomba will not rotate freely.
Check to make sure that none of the wheels have any debris or dirt stuck in them. The dirt can inhibit the wheel’s motion and negatively affect its performance. If this is the issue, clean out the dirt/debris. Check to see if this fixes your issue. If not, look at our wheel replacement guides linked below.
The Roomba moves in odd, inefficient patterns.
Try turning device on and off Turn it off and on.
The iRobot Roomba is crashing into everything repeatedly.
Try to turn it off and on.
If it is crashing into a wall and does not sense the wall, the sensors may need cleaning or replacing. It could be possible that the sensors are blocked, check under the vacuum.
The dirt stays in the same place.
If it is not suctioning, the main brush may not be rotating. Replace rotating brush.
