Side brush
- Remove the single 6.1mm Phillips #0 screw from the side brush.

- Lift the side brush, removing it from the motor.

Motor
- Remove the battery panel and the two screws behind the wheels.
- Lift up the back panel and remove it from the Roomba.

- Remove the three screws holding down the motor. Be aware one requires a tristar bit and the plastic piece under that screw comes free easily.
- Once the motor is loose you can pull it up out of the Roomba.

- Hold the motor by the bottom and the edge of the cap and remove the cap.
