Introduction
A dirty vacuum filter restricts airflow and reduces the performance of your Roomba vacuum. iRobot recommends cleaning the Roomba 694 filter at least once a week and replacing the filter every two months. This guide will show you how to clean and replace the filter on the Roomba 694.
Check to confirm the power is off before you begin.

- Press the button on the face of the Roomba to release the bin. Pull out the bin.

- Empty out the bin.

- Remove the filter from the Roomba by sliding it out of the bin.
- If the filter is in good condition, you can clean it and reuse it. If it is damaged or unable to be cleaned sufficiently, replace the filter with a new one.
