Sometimes, getting to the heart of an issue, is being pedantic with regard to language.
A glitch, for all intents and purposes, is simply an error. This could be used to describe numerous experiences. So rather than detailing all the various causes in full, it’s pretty likely the issue you are having is discussed on another page, worded differently.
Screen issues usually come in two flavors—touch and image.
The iPhone Ghost Touch page details how to handle your phone experiencing unexpected or phantom touch inputs. Your phone may be acting as though you are swiping or selecting when you are not touching it at all.
The iPhone Touch Screen Not Working page gives some input specifically for dealing with no touch input at all, or dead areas on the display. Whether the issue is intermittent or seems permanent, the causes are the same.
The iPhone Lines on Screen page covers what to do if your phone has lines on the screen. This could be a single green line, or several colored lines, or bands of differing visuals. The issue may be constant or intermittent.
The iPhone Frozen Screen page gives guidance for how to deal when your iPhone is frozen. Or if it even is frozen. But if it seems stuck on a particular image, this page will tell you how to handle it.

Ultimately display issues can be narrowed down to three things—the software, the display assembly, or the logic board. Even though these pages may cover more specific issues, the triage is very similar for all. And would likely cover other issues not specifically mentioned here.
