Introduction

This guide is for the physical SIM card and therefore for the international A2894 model only. The embedded SIM (eSIM) is silicon-based and cannot be removed.

What you need

Step 1

              Eject the SIM card tray               

• Insert a SIM card eject tool into the small hole in the SIM card tray, located on the volume button edge of the iPhone.
• Press firmly to eject the tray.

Step 2

              Remove the SIM card tray               

• Remove the SIM card tray from the iPhone.
• When reinserting the SIM card, make sure it’s in the proper orientation inside the tray.
• A thin rubber gasket around the SIM tray provides water and dust protection. If this gasket is damaged or missing, replace the gasket or the entire SIM tray to protect your iPhone’s internal components.

Yo Dom, no removable SIM card carrier on 14-pro-max (e-sim only).

Hi mrmichaelpeters,only the US model does not offer a physical SIM card tray, however the international model A2894 has one.

Hello, can I swap sim card trays from iPhone 13 256 Green to iPhone 14 Pro Max 128 Black (A2894) in EUROPE? I’m guessing they have the same sim card tray shape, I don’t care about the color. Thanks
