SnapCam will not power on. The power light is giving no feedback.

It is possible that the charger you are working with is faulty. To remedy this situation try another charger. The SnapCam displays a red light when it is charging.

The SnapCam Lite will not charge on a USB 1.1 port. You should use a high speed USB 2.0 port.

SnapCam vibrates without stopping, and the camera won’t turn off.

Try pressing the reset button on the end of the camera with a paper clip or other small pointed object.

Go to www.ioncamera.com and download the newest firmware. Then move into the firmware folder on the device.

SnapCam has a memory card, but it is not reading.

The memory card is not inserted all the way in the slot. Remove the memory card and place it back in. Push it in until a clipping sound is heard.

The SnapCam Lite has restrictions in place for usable memory cards. The memory card must be a microSD card and needs to be formatted to FAT32 32KB Data Allocation. If this is the problem, the SnapCam will beep every three seconds to notify you that the memory card need to be formatted.

To format your memory card, connect it to your computer. Open up the ‘Computer’ window and right click on your memory card and select ‘Format’ in the options. In the ‘Format’ window, select the FAT32 32KB option and select quick format.

Power light blinks red over and over again

This is yet another indicator that the memory card you are using is not compatible. You will need to find a suitable replacement. Memory Card Class 6 or above.

All the photos come out blurry or obscured

Try cleaning the lens gently. Use a cleaning cloth to clean the camera lens to avoid scratching it.
