Step 1

              Plastic Base               

• Take off the lid of the Instant Pot. Grasp the handle and rotate the lid counter-clockwise, then lift up to separate the lid from the base.

• Take out the inner pot and place it somewhere out of the way.

• Flip the Instant Pot over on its top so that the base is facing upward.

• Remove the single 12mm Phillips #2 screw holding the base to the device.

Step 5

• Rotate the base counter-clockwise, then gently lift the base off of the device.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I would like to buy one of these for an 8 Qt model….very hard to source this and terrible customer support as this seems to be a issue for many that burned theirs.
