              Anti-Block Shield               

• Open the lid of the Instant Pot. Grasp the handle and rotate the lid counter-clockwise, then lift up to separate the lid from the base.
• Turn the lid upside down to access the anti-block shield.

• Wedge the iFixit opening tool between the anti-block shield and the underside of the lid.
• Push down on the opening tool until the anti-block shield pops out.
• The anti-block shield is fit very securely over the vent. It may take some force for it to pop out, and the part may pop out with some speed.
