Introduction
Changing the RAM will not alter the data that is stored on your hard drive, but be sure to turn off your computer and unplug it prior to beginning your repair.
What you need

- Unplug all the cables from the computer, including the power cable. Lay the computer face-down, supporting the neck and base with a soft cloth under the screen.

- Loosen the four Phillips #0 screws.

- Carefully remove the base access panel.

RAM
- Remove the RAM from the slot.
Remove the RAM from the slot.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
