Bluetooth connection is faulty from iHome or from source device. For example, your phone is connected yet audio is not playing.

Make sure that the Bluetooth setting on your source device is on. You should see the Bluetooth symbol on your device be fully solid and not faded.

Turn the power on by holding the iHome button until a blue light appears. The Bluetooth button is located in the left corner of the devices control center. Press and hold this button until the blue light is blinking, that means it is ready to sync.

The mini USB cord provided does not work.

Make sure the USB cord is securely plugged in at both ends. It may be a problem with the USB ports itself, check out our replacement guide for the mother board here.

Examine the wire to make sure that it is completely intact. If part of the wire is exposed, use electrical tape for insulation.

If neither of these options solved your problem, call in for a replacement or just purchase a new USB cord.

The device is not responsive. No sound is going through the speaker, speaker won’t turn on.

Check if the power is on. Press the power button to turn on the device, you should see a blue light start blinking near the power button.

Make sure device is fully charged. When charging it, a red light should appear near the power button. Remember, the device only turns on when fully charged!

If the device is non-responsive, reset it. Turn on the device and press the reset button on the back of the device for 2 seconds, you’ll need a small pin to access the hole the button is located in.

Make sure the device is connected to Bluetooth. When it is connected to Bluetooth, the blue light should be solid and not blinking. Your source device, like your phone, should show the Bluetooth symbol.

If light on the device doesn’t turn on plug the speaker to a power switch, then hold the Power On/Off Button for 2 seconds to reset the device.

If the light is still off press the Color Mode Button. If no effect then contact costumer service. Or, if comfortable taking your product apart, review our light replacement page here.
