Introduction
Windshield wipers are needed to be replaced in order to properly drive during rainfall. With old windshield wipers, the windshield will be smudged due to the water not being properly removed.
The guide starts with removing each windshield wiper and then shows how to reattach them to the hooks. After completing all steps, the new wipers will be fully functional.
What you need
Step 1
Windshield Wipers
- Raise the bigger arm and position the wiper blade so it is parallel to the arm.

Step 2
- Pull the wiper blade down towards the hood to release the wiper blade from the j-hook.

- Push the new 28 inch wiper blade up into the j-hook until it makes an audible click.

- Lower the bigger arm back down to the windshield.

- Raise the smaller arm and position the wiper blade so it is parallel to the arm.

- Push the new 14 inch wiper blade up into the j-hook until it makes an audible click.

For a Hyundai Elantra 2012, replacing windshield wipers is quite easy and takes less than 5 minutes.
