- Remove the back plate by hand. There is a small indent on the bottom of the phone to pry open.

- Lift up and remove the battery.

- Use a T4 Torx screwdriver to remove the 8 screws along the outer edge of the case.

- Using the plastic opening tool, pry the screen from the casing. Insert the tool between the case and screen to pry the pieces apart.
- Take care to not damage the screen or case.

- Use a soldering iron to desolder the four connections to the charging port.
